Exclusive product for professional installers, enabling energy efficient and easy heating control with the app. Geofencing, Smart Schedules, that even run without Internet, and many more features are provided in the powerful tado° app.

Easy to install, even offline. Replaces room thermostats connected with gas boilers, heat pumps and water-based underfloor heating systems. Supports Relay and OpenTherm heating interfaces. If an OpenTherm connection is detected, the configuration will run automatically.

This Starter Kit includes the Bridge X (Thread Border Router), which is needed for the Thread network to connect to the internet and the tado° cloud.

Not compatible with tado° V3+ products or older lines.

Internet connection

The Smart Thermostat X connects to the Internet via the tado° Bridge X. You can plug the Bridge X into any socket and it connects to the Wi-Fi router.

To install tado°, you need at least iOS 16.4 or Android 9.0.
